About this site
I’m hoping that this site can serve as a forum for continuing the conversation that I’ve tried to start in the book. There’s a lot to talk about, and I really meant it when I wrote that the goal of the book was not to put any specific questions to rest but to put everything in play. I’m hopeful this site becomes part of that on-going conversation. Please feel free to wander around and to add your two cents to the discussion - one thing we’ve learned about the Net is that if lots of people add their voice, the conversation can become extraordinarily interesting. So have at it! I’m looking forward to hearing what you have to say.

One of the nice things about going around and giving talks about the book is that listeners offer up some good ideas about candidates for the “moose” for the Net. I was somewhat unsatisfied with my own choice — Wikipedia — in the book, and with good reason: though it is a good candidate for something “dazzling” on the Net (in the way that the moose was dazzling to those in the Old World), it doesn’t have the same “we need new thinking about things” quality that a good Moose should have. Of all the candidates I’ve seen so far, I think Larry Lessig had the best version, here. Well worth watching -
